The next file is on William B. Schilling, the next conductor of the Symphony who called the community orchestra Casper Municipal Band. The item therein is a 1934 program from a performance of the Casper Municipal Band under their conductor William B. Schilling. This is the only program in the collection from the 1930s. Schilling led the CMB from 1929 up until 1942 when the world prepared for WWII. Because of WWII all orchestra operations stopped from 1943-1946.

Casper Philharmonic Orchestra: Harry S. Marquis, 1926 - 1928

 File
Scope and Contents

This file contains the 1926-1927 newspaper clippings that allowed me to piece together who the next conductor of the Orchestra was. A man named Harry S. Marquis picked up the baton in the late 1920s and conducted for the Symphony renamed Casper Philharmonic Orchestra. The news clippings include the announcements of concerts, the publicity for the events, and the dates for some of the concerts during that time.
