Paper written and submitted to the Wyoming Writer's Project as a social estimate of Casper, Wyoming by Joseph Orr in 1940. This copy of Orr's work was prepared from a microfilm copy at the State Archives. It is only available through the repository in digital form.

Scope and Contents This collection currently consists of a submission information package of 308 digital files of post cards of Casper and Natrona County. Subjects include banks, churches, the Cole Creek train wreck, hospitals, refineries, schools, streets and more. They pertain to the years 1902 to 1956 approximately. The Sheffner-McFadden Collection consists of family photographs and albums, postcards, and photographs of early-day Casper, Wyoming, that had been collected by Genevieve Sheffner Shultz. Other materials include a notebook belonging to Frances C. Butler (Sheffner), an East Side High School Class of 1918 Yearbook, and a letter to Jean C. Mcfadden from prolific Wyoming writer Peggy Simson Curry.
