This folder was within the WSO Timeline box as a basis for the name and conductor changes from the 1910s to 2024. The documents therein were used to create the timeline of conductors from the 1910s to 1985 as they describe a brief history of the Orchestra, both the conductors and the happenings of the organization at those times. A very helpful resource.

Scope and Contents After an entire season of searching for a new conductor, the WSO chose Jonathan Shames as their next maestro during the 2001-2002 season. The 2002-2003 season "Changes" allowed the new conductor to experience rehearsals and performances with community, implant, and junior musicians, both in and out of Casper and Wyoming. Scope and Contents Jonathan Shames was followed by new conductor Matthew Savery from Montana who joined the WSO in 2008 and led the organization until 2018. Savery was introduced to the Casper area with a new fundraiser "Wine on the River" and he participated in several Pops in the Park concerts alongside the Casper Ghosts baseball team.
