Scope and Contents From the File: Ernest Hagen passed the responsibility of condutor onto Edmund Marty in 1962 who conducted for the Casper Civic Symphony until he resigned in 1970. Under Marty, the CCS became a more refined orchestra and they were able to host guest musicians locally, from other states, and occassionally from other countries. Casper College officially agreed to pay the orchestra conductor's salary, as well as provide a teaching opportunity at the community college as a musical educator. Hagen and Marty...
