Walker Family Photographs
This collection consists of Additional Description Recollections of childhood on a Wyoming Ranch in the early 1900s by Katherine Miller Walker and two photographs. The first of Margaret, Katherine, Evelyn with Mother. Eleanor is in the car. The sccond of Victor & Eleanor Miller's home. These photgraphs were taken circa 1930.
Walter R. Jones Papers
This collection contains manuscript versions of The Sandbar. It also contains photographs, background research, and miscellaneous materials relating to the history of the Sandbar and Casper more broadly. Researchers will also find information on the publication of The Sandbar as well as information on Jones. Early versions of the Sandbar primarily date to 1975 through 1979. Western History Center Oral History Cooperative Project Files
This is a collection of Oral Histories with Casper residents recorded between what appears to be 2011 and 2016. In addition to documenting the histories of Casper residents, some of these oral histories are also on the history of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) Program at Casper College. The repository is in the process of identifying oral histories and making them moore accessible.
William Frederick Bragg, Jr. Manuscripts and Notebooks
This collection contains manuscripts for War Horses and Wyoming's Wealth. A note about the year The War Horses was sold to its publisher is the only date that has been found on the manuscripts. More manuscripts may have been received with the 1987 or other accessions. They will be incorporated into this collection if discovered. Researchers will also find a box of Bragg's notebooks from 1987.
William Maxwell "Scotty" Jack Collection
Photos and scrapbooks gifted from William Maxwell "Scotty" Jack's family from 1969 to 1970.The photos consist of signed portraits from his colleagues as well as some personal portraits and photos of the state legislature. The scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings pertaining to when Jack was in the state goverment and news from the various Wyoming Lions Clubs There are also plaques and certificates from organizations Jack was a part of, such as the American Trade Association Executives.
Williamson Family Collection
This collection consists of war ration books, pages from a bank account ledger, an abstract of title 3 account books for what was the Bluebird Grocery Store on South Center in Casper, WY, and various real estate books. These records date from 1907 to 1960.
