Content Description

The Robert L. Pettigrew, Jr. Papers consists of writing and correspondence. The subjects of much of Pettigrew's writing pertain to economics and climate change. Researchers will also find political campaign pins, signs, posters, and 2 swords. One of the swords was the commissioning sword Robert L. Pettigrew, Sr. received from the United States Navy, and the other was found on the Dauphin Plantation in Haiti when he was manager in 1927.

This record group consists of the mayoral and campaign speeches of Robert R. Rose from approximately 1949 to 1952. Researchers will find newspaper scrapbooks that correspond to Rose's time as Mayor of Casper, his nomination to the Supreme Court of Wyoming, and his photographic prints and negatives. Rose was an avid wildlife photographer.

Scope and Contents

The Ron Akin Congressional Campaign and ACLU Advisory Board Files contain both Akin's 2002 and 2004 Washington, D.C. and Wyoming campaign files. Akin served in the United States Air Force before running his Congressional campaigns, which he lost in both Washington and Wyoming in 2002 and 2004 respectively. Akin also served on the Advisory Board for the ACLU and researchers will find files from his time on the Advisory Board.
