Scope and Contents

This collection contains newspaper articles of interest to Elizabeth "Neal" Forsling from 1943 to 1947 and a photo album that belonged to her daughter, Jean Gallatin Ogilbee. The photo album documents Ogilbee's service in the U.S. Air Force and participation in Bob Hope’s 1957 Christmas tour of the Pacific. The album includes an exhibit featuring Forsling's painted works in Hawaii and other newspaper clippings and printed documents.

The Ella Watson and Rustling Figures Photographs consist of a series of photographs of people and places but many of which are reproductions held by the Wyoming State Archives and the Carbon County Historical Museum. The title given to them was derived from the collective subject of the folder as found in the repository's backlog. Other reproductions are of material found in the Alfred J. Mokler Collection and the Robert B. David Papers held in the repository.

Content Description

This digital collection consists of copies of 7 photographs titled Fair Parade and 8 labeled photographs of Texaco Refinery. Some of the Texaco Refinery photographs are of its catalytic reforming unit (CRU) and vacuum pipestill (VPS). Based on the on or before 1960 dates on the back of a couple of Fair Parade photographs, it is thought that the Texaco Refinery photographs were likely taken around this same time.
