Marion B. and Otis Walker Collection

This collection consists of both Casper College and Casper and Wyoming brochures. There is a syllabus for an Introduction to Micro Computers Class and other College mailings. Some of the creators of the Casper brochures, flyers, and other publications include the Casper Women's Club, the Ladies' Aid Society, and an Aircraft Warning Service Center once in Casper. Researchers of Wartime history may find this collection to be useful. Also included is a file of Republican Campaign information from the year 1952, and a program for the Ground-breaking Ceremony of the Dave Johnston Power Plant. There are 2 newspaper scrapbooks, one of which is focused on Casper and includes articles from the Casper Tribune Herald. Researchers can explore connections from this scrapbook to other collections in the repository. Subjects include but are not limited to, General Custer, the Cole Creek Wreck, Percy Shallenberger, some scenes of Casper in the 1940's as captured in the Tribune Herald, and issues of import to Wyoming more broadly.
