Scope and Contents
The Ola Belle (Smith) Burley Collection contains a program for a Benefit Concert for the Children of Rwanda at the Sargent Memorial Presbyterian Church in Suitland, Maryland and a recording of the concert that includes both the audio and video streams. A photograph of Ola Belle (Smith) Burley is on the cover of the program, Burley was lyric soprano vocalist for the concert. She began her vocalist career in Casper, Wyoming and continued it at the University of Denver. She performed as a soloist at the John F. Kennedy Concert Hall as well as in New York City, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, and Louisiana.
