McGrath Family Photographs
Content Description
Tbe McGrath Family Photographs consist of 47 photographic prints. Photographs show members of the McGrath Family including a photograph of John T. McGrath in his blacksmith shop on Durbin Street in Casper, Wyoming. According to an obituary, "John was a pioneer resident of Casper and long-time constable of Justice District Number 1. He was the first village blacksmith of Casper and later served as merchant policeman and deputy sheriff." Other photographs show Edward Michael and Amanda McGrath. Photographs were taken in California and Wyoming among possible other locations. A portion of these photographs were taken between 1930 and 1941 while some fall outside of these dates. The photograph of John T. Mcraph's blacksmith shop is one that was taken earler.
