Scope and Contents
This is a photo of the Casper Police Department circa 1932. In the back row, left to right, is Unknown, Joseph P. Jonen, Charley Swingle, Jack Bordeaux, and Belle Patton, the jail matron. In the middle row is Joseph Lindholm, Vincent Delaney, Ed Garrell, Unknown, Tony Wrobleskey, Unknown, and John Mechaley. In the front row is Judge John Casey, Bob Owens, Don Newlan, Mayor Earl Rowell, Chief Mike Quealey, Wilbur Clark, and Otis Wade. One of the unknowns in the middle row is Tony Wroblesky.

Biographical / Historical
Shortly after this photo was taken, Mayor Earl Rowell and Chief Mike Quealey were taken before a Grand Jury for charges of trafficking liquor in violation of the National Prohibition Act. The were also fired. Rowell left Casper. Quealey was later employed by Sheriff Gilbert Housley after Housley left office h=and bought the Townsend Hotel and Natrona Motors. Housley had also been brought before a Grand Jury, but the charges against him are unknown.
