Digitized Copies of Casper Photographs and Postcards
Content Description
This collection had been stored as one collection of digital photographs of Casper, Wyoming from approximately 1896 to 1956. Researchers will find a visual representation of some of the early development of Casper, Wyoming as well as of its business district in the downtown area. There are 53 files in this digitized collection. Additional scans of 2 of the originals that have been located were made in September of 2023. The collection originates with a 1999 purchase by the repository from Carriage House Antiques, It should also contain copies of 444 postcards if the current organization of the collection is to be retained. A collection of this many postcards has not yet been discovered intact in the repository's physical holdings however.
