Scope and Contents
This collection features the signatures, autographs, and letters of U.S. and foreign presidents, vice presidents, ambassadors, and political members. It also includes famous signatures of American Military officers and generals, Senators, politicians, and businessmen, musicians, inventors, scientists, authors, and educators. The collection is from Miss. Margaret La Violette's personal signature scrapbooks she acquired over many decades and it spans from 1759 to 1932.
