Scope and Contents

This is record describes a portion of the overall accessions collected and maintained by John R. Jolley. Jolley's papers include a folder of documents and articles regarding State-land exchanges. An exhange in particular involved 14 parcels of State lands in Sublette County for the Willow Creek Ranch north of Cora. The other file contains documents and several photographs regarding land surface damages. This other file appears to have been transferred but never connected to Jolley's records concerning surface dameges from 1992-2002. These are listed as restricted in their related finding aid. In addition, there are two VHS tapes labeled Ormsby Road and 6 VHS tapes labeled Martins Cove Subcommittee. Researchers will find copies of the Grassroots Advocate and other newspaper clippings on the above-mentioned topics. Dates overall include 1984 and approximately 1997 to 2002.
