Room 212 Shelf Profiles
Scope and Contents
While the physical layout of a complete "Shelf-range Profile" typically tracks linear footage and box numbers, the intellectual profile of these shelf ranges shows materials from up to three distinct single repositories sitting on a shelf and is designed to be used for the purpose of illustrating the interoperability the repository is striving for in areas related to collection processing, access, and the curatorial work of developing archival exhibits. This is more of an administrative record, but can also be used for discovery and access. Western History Center Staff and Researchers will find more archival information in the repository's finding aids for unique archives and special collections. The completed profiles of closed storage rooms will be turned into a report of the collections organized within the Western History Center by each of the 3 single repositories that reflect its collecting mission and scope.
