"Symphony Guild Plans Dinner and Music" Newspaper Article, 1972 - 1973
Scope and Contents
This file represents a little part of the Casper Symphony Guild that was established alongside the Symphony Orchestra in Casper. In its early days, the Casper Symphony Guild was a collective of housewives that ran the Symphony, planned its events, namely the Symphony Ball, sold tickets and memberships, and promoted the performances and activities of the Orchestra. The Guild eventually grew to be the Board of the WSO and is still at the forefront of management, administration, and organization of the WSO and all of its goals and events. Most of the Guild's documents are reports, newspaper articles, and bits of publicity that also link to planning specifically from the WSO records box in the collection.
