Casper Civic Symphony: Blaine D. Coolbaugh, 1947 - 1958
Scope and Contents
From 1943-1946, there was no activity or performance from the Symphony Orchestra of Casper because of WWII. Soon after the end of the war in 1947, a man named Blaine D. Coolbaugh revived the Symphony calling it Casper Civic Symphony. The items therein this file are programs from 1956 and 1958 that list Coolbaugh as the conductor to the CCS after WWII and they are the only programs from before 1959 in the collection until other programs and newspaper articles are documented in the scrapbooks collection. Coolbaugh was the conductor of the CCS from 1947-1958.
