Early 1910s-1925: Conductors Mr. Bogue & Ray Cook, 1910 - 1925
Scope and Contents
This file contains the documents pulled from the WSO History folder that were used to determine who started the WSO in the 1910s. A clarinetist known only as Mr. Bogue brought the Casper Symphony to Wyoming in the late 1910s and passed his baton to a pharmacist named Ray Cook who renamed the Symphony Casper Concert Symphony Orchestra. The information in these documents allowed me to put together the first two conductors of Casper's Symphony and the information was typed up by Betsy Knapp, a previous director of the CSO in the early 1950s and 1960s.
