Loos, Bond premier at America Theater to star Bob Hope, Tokyo gives up hope of holding base at Rabaul. April 15, 1945: Twin offensives squezze Berlin, Homage paid to late president FDR, Russians open fight for Berlin with big tank battle, Fighting in Europe may last months before final victory,Casaper digs out of snow as late storm sweeps into Colorado, Yanks capture Franz von Papen in Ruhr pocket, Molotove coming to security meeting at Truman's suggestion, Tokyo is dealt greatest blow, Neons blaze again as brownout is lifted, Rudolf Hess is closely guarded, Jap diplomat forecasts difficllties for Truman, Casper joins in tribute to late Pres.
