Scope and Contents From the File: After Peacock retired from the Symphony in 2001, they sought out new, talented conductors to take over the maestro's position. From 2001-2002 the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra embarked on their Season of Discovery, inviting six conductor candidates to Casper to host their own trial concerts. Candidates Nan Harris Washburn, Dennis Simons, Arthur Post, Dr. Patrick Patton, Jonathan Shames, and Alfred Savia each hosted their own concert during "The Search."
